Ekco T545 Black and White Potable TV (Vintage) in Trowbridge, Wiltshire for sale
There are minor scratches to the casing due to its age. This television was purchased by my wife's Father in 1972 to watch the Olympic Games!!! Since those early years it has been rarely used as colour television came into its own soon after. It still works although I have not been able to get a picture on the set due to the lack of signal from the aerial outside! The TV comes complete with its original book of instructions, mains lead and recoverable daylight viewing clip on cover, however this is broken/repaired but does not interfere with the electrics of the unit. The controls work with the standby switch and a volume/on/off switch. There are two slider controls to the right side of the screen that operate brightness and contrast. To the rear of the set are another two controls that operate the horizontal and vertical hold of the picture. This could be a collectors item in the future as there were only a few made.
